Welcome to the Chatham-Kent COVID-19 Assessment Centre Booking System
The Chatham-Kent COVID-19 Assessment Centre provides for COVID-19 tests to all ages while following assessment and testing criteria’s under the Ontario provincial guidelines.
Testing is available by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted.
This centre does not provide any swabs or testing required for travel or to attend/participate/gain entry to public events (i.e. sporting events, concerts, etc.). Please go to a pharmacy or lab offering these services.
Please do not present to the emergency department for testing due to appointment availability. Please contact 519-436-2556 so we may assist you with an appointment at the assessment centre.

To book an appointment click the "Book Now" button at the top of this page. To better serve the public there are two options based on the age of the patient.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible so others can get tested. Cancel by going to the e-mail you received at the time of booking.
Chatham-Kent COVID-19 Assessment Centre
Location: 10 Grand Ave W., Chatham (Located in the 7/11 plaza)
Hours: 9am – 5pm, 7 days a week
Ages: All ages
Parking: No costs
Paediatric Assessment COVID-19 Centre (PACC)
Location: Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Ambulatory Care Unit @ 80 Grand Ave West Chatham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. & Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Ages: 17 years of age and under (18 years + are not eligible to book an appointment)
Adult Attendance: Limited to one (1) adult only per patient
Parking: Parking fees may apply
For those who do not have access to technology, an appointment can be booked by calling CKHA’s Registration at 519.436.2556 seven days a week between 9am-5pm.
If do not have access to a mobile device, phone and/or computer or have a disability that prevents you from using one of those platforms to book an appointment please come to the Chatham-Kent COVID-19 Assessment Centre for support and we will be happy to assist with an appointment.
Testing for asymptomatic patients is not recommended. You should only be tested if you meet one of the following criteria:
·You have COVID-19 related symptoms
·You have been identified as a close contact of a known COVID-19 case by a Public Health Unit, or through the COVID-19 app
·You work in a facility where there is an outbreak as identified by a Public Health Unit
·You are eligible for testing as part of a Ministry of Health or Ministry of Long-Term Care initiative (i.e. before a surgical procedure, visiting long-term care)
Preparing for your appointment:
·When coming for an appointment come directly to the Assessment Centre
·Do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment
·Please bring and wear your mask
·Please bring your health card with you (If you do not have a valid health card you may still be tested)
·Please bring a list of medications and any other information regarding allergies and past medical issues
Results Follow-up:
·Generally results are available within 4-5 days of the test. However this turnaround is not guaranteed.
·All positive results are called out by public health. Negative results are not called.
